Housing Opportunity Mutual Aid Equity (HOME) Fund

During the Covid-19 pandemic, HCP created the Housing Opportunity Mutual Aid Equity (HOME) Fund to offset the additional hardships that our clients were facing during this uncertain time. We were able to witness the impact that a small amount of mutual aid can make.

Since then, HCP has continued to fundraise to provide critical financial support to our clients so they can thrive in the safe, healthy neighborhood of their choice. The HOME Fund grant helps families offset essential moving costs like truck rentals and security deposits, utilities, food and more.

Who is Eligible to Receive Assistance?

Any household that is currently enrolled in one of HCP's mobility counseling programs, is a tenant in an HCP-subsidized apartment through the Rental Housing Support Program, or is a current partner of HCP through the Housing Choice Voucher Working Group, is eligible to receive financial assistance through HCP's HOME Fund.

Because funds are extremely limited at this time, HCP is only able to assist those we invite to apply with a nominal amount based on funding availability. As the HOME Fund grows, additional clients will be contacted starting with the most recently-enrolled clients.
